Added Ability to Lock a Schema (E, V, S)

As part of the Manage Schemas module, administrators can now lock an upload schema to prevent it from being edited by other users.

VEP Logo Updated (E, V, A, S)

All VEP users will now see the updated VEP logo when logging into VEP.

Downloads

Updated Domains for the NENA V2 Downloads (E, V, A, S)
The NENA V2 Downloads now include domains based on the NENA V2 standards.

Uploads

External_NGUID Fields Required for MSAG and ALI Uploads (E, V, S)
If ALI or MSAG records are uploaded into VEP without a populated external_nguid, these records will be populated with an external_nguid based on the current sequential order in the current dataset. MSAG and ALI datasets uploaded into VEP will not have any blank or null external_nguid values.

Verification Steps Added to Check for Projection Issues (E, V, S)

Once data is uploaded into VEP, it is projected into Web Mercator. If any features have null geometry after this projection, an error message will identify the issues that need to be addressed before the upload can proceed. This update has also been made for Automated Uploads.

Upload Excel Tables with Large External_NGUID Values (E, V, S)

Excel tables with external_nguid values greater than 2147483647 can now be uploaded into VEP without any issues

Automated Uploads (Premium Feature)

Ability to Upload Markups Added to the Automated Upload Tool (E, V, S)

The option to include markups has been added to the Automated Upload Tool. Users can now upload both data and markups in the same workflow.

Automated Uploads Occur Immediately Upon Submission (E, V, S)
Unless a job is scheduled for a later date or time, automated uploads are now submitted immediately upon upload. Previously, automated uploads occurred nightly.

Reports

NENA 98% Compliancy Report Updates (E, V, A, S)
For Aggregator users, the NENA 98% Compliance Report will now show all jurisdictions, even if the MSAG or ALI validations have not been run or if they haven't produced any results. Also, the validation anomalies associated with MSAG values that are not reflected in the RCL range (VAL36B-1, VAL36B-2) have been removed from the MSAG No GIS anomaly count and totals.

Single Entry Aggregator

Jurisdiction Column Added to Downloads (S)
A column indicating the included jurisdictions has been added to the downloads request page. When a download is submitted, this column will indicate which jurisdictions are included in the download.

Optimized Dashboard and Reporting Following Validation Runs (S)
Optimizations have been implemented on the dashboard to enable faster updates after the completion of a validation run.

Redirect to Validation Queue if Validation Run is Queued (S)

If a validation run is placed in the validation queue because other jobs are running, users will be redirected to the validation queue page after submitting their validation run.

Validation Metrics Report Feature Count Reflects Selected Jurisdictions (S)
After running validations for a specific jurisdiction, the feature count included in the validation metrics report will match that of the specific jurisdiction, not the total of all jurisdictions.

MSAG Updates

MSAG Fields Reordered in Web Map Attribute Table (E, A)
In the previous VEP release, the MSAG schema was updated to include additional fields. This update applies the previous updates' field order to the MSAG attribute table within VEP.

MSAG Generator Updates (Premium Feature)

Ability to View Previously Generated MSAGs and MSAG Comparisons Added for Editor and Validator Roles (E, V, A, S)
The "GIS MSAG Download Requests" and "MSAG Comparison Reports" tabs in the MSAG Generator are now available for Editors and Validators. Admins, Data Admins, Validators, and Editors with access to the MSAG Generator will all be able to view these results and information.

Validations

Validation Results Tab Updates (E, V, A, S)

The validation results tab will no longer display a progress bar for the status of a validation run. Instead, this bar will only show as a text field when the run is "In-Progress" or "Completed".

MSAG Range Not Reflected in RCL Range Validations Removed (E, V, S)

MSAG range not reflected in RCL range validations (VAL36B-1 and VAL36B-2) have been completely removed from the MSAG validations and will no longer flag anomalies.

ALI Not Reflected in RCL Flagging Incorrect Anomalies When ESN Values have Leading Zeroes (E, V, S)

This bug fix addresses the issue of ALI records not matching correctly with corresponding RCLs when the ALI records contain one or more leading zeros in the ESN field. This update will be reflected in the ALI Not Reflected in RCL anomalies (VAL40-1).

AP Misordered Along RCL Updates (E, V, S)
This bug fix addresses an issue where the validation for AP Misordered Along RCL sometimes did not match the corresponding address point external_nguid. Additional logic fixes associated with this validation have been implemented. This update will be reflected in the AP Misordered Along RCL, which is part of the Fishbone Validations (FB05-1).
