Validation Results Overview



1. If the jurisdiction is part of a multi-jurisdictional collaboration, use the Cross-Jurisdictional Validation tab to toggle between Single-Jurisdiction results and Cross-Jurisdiction results.

2. For each anomaly type, the following fields will display using the most recent validation data:

  • Validation Results
  • Latest Run
  • Feature Class (Select in Additional Options to display)
  • Number of Anomalies
  • Feature Count (Select in Additional Options to display)
  • Percentage of Total
  • +/- Change (Previous Run)
  • Number of Marked Exceptions (Select in Additional Options to display)

3. Hover over a field to see the Additional Options dropdown. This allows users to:

  • View Previous Run results (Hover over the +/- Change field) 
  • View Initial Run results (Hover over the +/- Change field)
  • Sort Ascending
  • Sort Descending
  • Configure Columns (Add or remove field columns)

4. Click the progress indicator symbol to view a pop-out bar graph of the selected anomaly.

  1. Use the +/- drop-down to toggle between the most recent run and the initial run.
  2. Change the date range of previous runs to compare progress over time.
  3. Click Popout view to view the graph in a larger interface.
  4. Click X to close the pop-up window.


Did you know? These results are also included in the Custom Reports and validation result downloads.


Note: Due to the nature of Boundary Topology checks, the Percentage of Total Topology Errors will not be displayed in the Dashboard and other downloaded reports. The count of anomalies is kept, but the percentages for any topology errors are displayed as a ‘N/A’.



Multi-Jurisdiction

For users that are part of a Multi-Jurisdiction Collaboration, Validation Results can be viewed for Cross-Jurisdiction Validations as well as Individual Jurisdiction Validations.


1. Toggle to the Cross-Jurisdictional Validations tab.

2. Neighboring jurisdictions are displayed in the Collaborators list. To remove a collaborator from the results, click the X icon next to the collaborator's name.
