Identify Tool Overview | Identifying Features

The Identify tool allows users to select features in the map to view and export the selected features.

Identify Tool Overview


1. Select the Identify tool from the widget toolbar. 

2. Check the boxes for the Feature Layers to include in the selection.

3. Click Select to begin drawing an area to identify.

4. Click Save to retain the configured settings for future use.

5. Select Clear to clear the selection.

6. Additional selection options:

Mark all layers selectable - Select all layers.

Mark all layers unselectable - Unselect all layers.

Toggle selectability for all layers - Reverse the currently configured selection. 



Identifying Features


1. Select is activated by default.

2. Draw a box around the features to select.

3. The selection will be highlighted on the map.

4. The feature count for each checked Layer will be displayed in the Identify tool.

5. Click the ellipses for additional functions:

Zoom to - Zoom to the features on the map.

Pan to - Pan the map to the selected features.

Show Pop-up - Display a popup for the selected feature. Only available if one feature is selected for the layer.

Export to CSV file - Export the selected features to a CSV file.

Export to feature collection - Export the selected features to a JSON file. 

Export to GeoJSON - Export the selected features to a GeoJSON file. 

Add Marker - Place a marker on the selected feature. Only available if one feature is selected for the layer.

Statistics -  View statistics for the selected features 

View in Attribute Table - Open the Attribute Table to the selected Feature layer.

Clear Selection - Clear the selection for a single feature layer.
