Reference Schema | Custom Schema Wizard | Related Tables | Related Table Wizard | Execute
Downloads will contain all tables and feature classes imported into DATAMARK VEP. Additionally, the download will include the markup feature classes/tables. The custom download allows users to reference a previously uploaded custom schema of their choice and field map specific fields if necessary to truly achieve a custom file download.
Reference Schema
1. Select Downloads from the Navigation Menu.
2. Choose Custom Download.
3. Select a reference schema from the Select Schema dropdown menu. For more information on how Schemas are saved, see Understanding Schemas.
4. Click the Next button to proceed.
Custom Schema Wizard
The selected schema will automatically load into the Custom Schema Wizard page.
1. Apply any necessary field mapping changes using the Native Field dropdowns.
- Press the Reset button to reset all the source fields.
- Press the Auto-Map button to help automatically map similar field names.
- Press the Cancel button to cancel the download process.
2. Click the Next button to proceed once all the appropriate fields are mapped. Repeat steps 1-2 for all Feature Layers included in the download.
Related Tables
1. If tables were included in the file uploaded, they can be downloaded as related tables. Check the box next to each table to to include.
2. Click the Next button to proceed.
Related Table Wizard
1. Use the dropdowns in the New Custom Schema for Tables section to configure mapping a relationship between the table and a feature class:
Target Table -(the name of the existing feature class) from the drop-down.
Source Field -
Target Field -
Relationship Type - Choose to map the source field to the target field in a One-to-One or a One-to-Many relationship
2. Click the Next button to continue the same process for the remaining tables and proceed to the text step.
Note: If the tables are standalone tables and not related to a feature class, click next to move on to the next step.
Execute
1. Select the download Type format from the dropdown.
2. Optionally, choose a Download File Name. One will be populated with a unique ID and the date appended to the end by default.
Note: The Download File Name only supports speical characters #, _, and -. Special characters may not be used at the start of the name. File names have a character limit of 50.
3. Click the Download button to download into the custom schema.
After the download has begun, the user will be redirected to the Download Requests page. They may export it once it has a Completed status.
Caution: If the dataset is larger than 2GB, the selected download Type will need to be geodatabase or the download could fail.
